This process effectively solves the deformations and dimensional deviations that occur during the welding process, ensuring that the subsequent parts can be assembled correctly and avoiding the following problems:

1. Eliminate the effects of weld distortion:

   • During the welding process, the frame structure may be deformed due to thermal stress and cooling shrinkage, resulting in displacement or irregular shape of the originally preset hole position. Fine boring can correct these errors and bring the hole diameter, position and concentricity up to the exact standard.

2. Ensure assembly accuracy and stability:

   • The frame usually needs to be mated with bearings, shafts, dowel pins or other key parts, and if the hole position accuracy after welding is insufficient, it may lead to assembly difficulties and affect product performance. Fine boring allows for consistent hole size, ensuring that tolerances meet specifications and avoiding interference or excessive clearance during assembly.

3. Improved mechanical strength and durability:

   • If the accuracy of the hole is insufficient, it will lead to uneven stress on the installed parts, affect the stability of equipment operation, and even cause local stress concentration, aggravated wear or fatigue damage. Fine boring ensures a smooth surface of the hole, reducing part wear and improving durability.

4. Improve overall motion accuracy:

   • In equipment that requires high-precision movement (such as robotic arms, locomotives, automobile chassis, etc.), the concentricity and dimensional accuracy of the hole position will directly affect the motion trajectory. If the hole position accuracy deviates too much, it may lead to unstable motion or abnormal sound. Fine boring can ensure that the motion axis of these key parts is consistent and improve the quality of movement.
